Children's Privacy

Looz exists because of children, but it is not a service children sign up for. Here is exactly how a child's information is handled.

Last updated: 15 August 2026

Adults own the account. Children never sign themselves up, are never advertised to, and their information is never used to train AI models.

1.Family accounts are managed by adults

A Looz family space is created by an adult account holder, normally a parent or guardian. Only adults can invite members, change roles, add or remove children, or delete the family space.

2.Children cannot create accounts

Looz is not directed at children as a sign-up audience and children cannot register on their own. If a parent chooses to give an older child access, the parent invites them and assigns the Kid role, which is view-only.

3.What a parent can record about a child

  • First name or nickname, and a colour
  • Date of birth (used to work out age and school stage)
  • Gender, if the parent chooses to add it
  • Class or grade, school or gan name, and school hours
  • Allergies or medical notes, and free-text notes
  • The child's schedule — school, tzaharon, activities, rides and events

None of these fields other than a name is required. Parents decide how much to record; a nickname and nothing else is a perfectly workable setup.

4.What a child sees if a parent gives them access

A member with the Kid role can see the family schedule and their own tasks. They cannot invite people, change roles, edit other people's assignments, delete events, or see the family's administrative settings.

5.We do not collect information from children directly

Looz has no advertising, no public profiles, no social feed, no direct messaging with strangers and no location tracking of children. We do not ask children for information, and everything recorded about a child is entered by an adult in the family.

6.Access, correction and deletion by a parent

  • See everything recorded: Kids → open the child's profile.
  • Correct it: edit the profile, or edit the event or task directly.
  • Delete a single detail: clear the field and save.
  • Delete the child's profile: Kids → open the profile → Delete. This removes the profile and the schedule tied to it.
  • Request a copy or a full deletion in writing: email privacy@looz.co.il from the address on the account.

7.As a child grows up

A child's Looz record belongs to the family space, not to the child. When a child no longer needs to be coordinated, a parent can delete the profile. If a young adult wants their own Looz family space, they create a new account as an adult account holder; nothing is transferred automatically.

8.No advertising, no AI training

Children's information is never used for advertising, profiling or marketing, is never sold, and is not used to train AI models. If a parent uses Smart Paste or Ask Looz, the request is processed to answer that request only.

9.Contact

Questions about a child's information: privacy@looz.co.il. We answer parents' requests about their own children as a priority.
