Trust
Your family's plans are private
Looz holds the details of your children's week. These are the controls that keep it to your family.
The controls behind the app.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
All traffic between your device and Looz runs over HTTPS/TLS. Stored data and uploaded files are encrypted at rest by our infrastructure provider.
Family data isolation
Every record carries the family it belongs to, and row-level security rules are enforced on the server. A request from one family cannot read or write another family's records.
Invite-only access
There is no public directory and no way to browse families. A person can only reach your family space through an invitation or the family code you share.
Role-based permissions
Parents and co-parents manage; grandparents, sitters and kids get a narrower view. Access is checked on the server, not just hidden in the interface.
Infrastructure
Looz runs on the Base44 platform, which provides the application hosting, database and file storage on managed cloud infrastructure.
Backups
Our provider takes regular backups of the database. Deleted content is removed from the app immediately and purged from backups within 30 days.
Who at Looz can see anything.
Looz is a small team. Administrative access to production data is limited to the people who need it to operate and support the service, and is used only to fix a fault, respond to a support request, or comply with a legal obligation. We do not browse family content out of curiosity, and we never use it for marketing.
Incident response
If we become aware of a security incident affecting your data, we investigate immediately, contain it, and notify affected account holders with what we know and what to do. Reach us at security@looz.co.il.
Reporting a vulnerability
Found something? Email security@looz.co.il with steps to reproduce. Please don't access other families' data while testing. We respond to good-faith reports and won't pursue researchers who follow that principle.
We describe only the controls we actually operate. Looz does not currently hold a formal security certification such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2, and we would rather tell you that than imply otherwise.
