Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Looz. Plain wording, no surprises.

Last updated: 15 August 2026

1.Agreement

These terms govern your use of Looz. By creating an account or joining a family space you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2.Eligibility

The account holder must be an adult (18 or older) and legally able to enter into this agreement. By adding a child to a family space you confirm you are that child's parent or legal guardian, or that you have their permission.

3.Your account

  • Give accurate details and keep your password confidential.
  • You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
  • Tell us promptly if you believe someone has gained access to your account.
  • One person, one account. Do not share credentials — invite the person instead.

4.Family spaces and invitations

When you invite someone you are granting them access to your family's plan according to the role you choose. Only invite people you trust with information about your children. You can change a role or remove a member at any time; access ends immediately.

The person who created the family space administers it. If they leave, they should transfer administration to another adult member first.

5.Acceptable use

  • Do not use Looz for anything unlawful, harmful or abusive.
  • Do not upload content you have no right to share, or content that is harmful to a child.
  • Do not attempt to access another family's data, probe or disrupt the service, or bypass access controls.
  • Do not scrape, resell or rebuild the service, or use it to build a competing product.
  • Do not use Looz to send unsolicited messages to people who have not agreed to join your family.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

6.Your content

You keep ownership of everything you add — events, tasks, notes, files and images. You grant us a limited licence to store, process and display that content for the purpose of operating the service for you and your family, including sending it to our AI providers when you use an AI feature. We do not use your content to train AI models and we do not use it for advertising.

7.AI features

Smart Paste and Ask Looz produce suggestions. They can be wrong or incomplete. Looz never changes your family's plan without your approval, and you are responsible for reviewing anything before you save it. Do not rely on Looz alone for anything safety-critical.

8.Subscriptions and payments

Looz is currently offered at no charge. If paid plans are introduced, pricing, billing terms, renewal and refund rules will be presented before you subscribe, and no charge will be made without your explicit agreement.

9.Availability and disclaimers

We work to keep Looz available and accurate, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reminders and notifications will always be delivered on time. Looz is a coordination tool, not a guarantee that a child will be collected.

10.Termination

You may stop using Looz and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service — in which case we will give reasonable notice and an opportunity to export your data.

11.Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Looz and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for missed events, missed collections or lost data arising from use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or ILS 100 if you paid nothing.

12.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email before they take effect, and continued use after that date means you accept them.

13.Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts of Tel Aviv–Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction. Before starting a formal claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the matter directly.

14.Language

Looz is offered to families in Israel. Where a Hebrew version of these terms is published, the Hebrew version prevails; the English version is provided for convenience.
